My children are off to school now.  Seems to be a bittersweet moment.  The house is quiet and not filled with laughter and the occasional loudness.  It is a little sad however, now I can really kick in with some art.  I always have to turn on some music to fill the "quiet" void.  I have fired up the kiln and will have a batch coming out later this afternoon.  All of the tiles I am firing a pieces that will be used in my mosaics. 

I am doing an art show in October and had to complete that piece.  I am unable to show that piece just yet but will when the time is right.  In addition, I had a few custom pieces to complete.  I have just completed those and now for the fun stuff.
